Q. What’s the difference between a CD-R disk and a CD-RW disk?
A.
A CD-R disk can’t be erased (formatted) and then reused. A CD-RW disk can be written on, formatted and written on again. CD-R disks are great for backups and copies. CD-RW disks are better for temporary/portable storage. I’ve learned the hard way that CD-R disks crap out faster than CD-RW disks. CD-RW cost more but they’re more reliable in my opinion.
