Q. Is there some free way to advertise my adult graphic design business content without spamming? I can’t afford advertising right now. I’ve submitted to gobs of search engines and put links on my front page for traffic exchanges. I even put a bunch of recip buttons on my main page from resource sites I’ve submitted to. What else can I do?

You’ve done quite a bit already and you should be proud. In a month or so, check the search engines you attempted to ad your site to. If it isn’t listed, it’s okay to submit it again. Make sure you pick the right category for the kind of website you have. You are an adult resource. Don’t submit to the general porn category.
There are a couple of other things you can do. One is to send out a press release for the grand opening of your business. Many of the adult resource providers accept press releases, especially ones pertaining to our industry. The other action you can take is more time intensive but well worth it. You have to join your community of online porn peddlers. Get on those message boards and don’t forget to put a little something about your business in your signature file and profile. Don’t come in all gang busters shooting spam. Your sig file should be enough.
