I am truly amazed that after the eight or so years the adult Internet has been around, there are still people who think they need a fat bankroll to break into this business. In the old days, a newbie needed money because nobody had affiliate programs or free hosts. The newbies of yesteryear are the ones who created the infrastructure we have now. They had to spend money for hosting and content because they were the only ones selling sex on the Internet.

Today there’s a staggering supply of tools and services available to adult webmasters. Many of these tools and services are free. A nethead can learn, practice and make real money in a real field and never spend a penny on start-up costs.
This is a secretive business. There are no books or college courses on how to make a living peddling porn. There never have been. Even those who’ve worked in video or print adult come into the net as green as the rest of us. They may know how to sell sex in their former mediums but they don’t know how to sell it on the web. They have to pass through the fire like anyone else. The adult Internet must be learned to be mastered. You can have decades of previous experience and buckets of cash but you’ll still have to learn this biz from the ground up.
Pay money for nothing until you know what you’re doing. You are blessed to be involved in an industry where all you need is there for the taking. You can learn at your leisure and sell without overhead. You can experiment while you do your laundry and read tutorials while your clothes toss in the dryer.
