It's cool. We've all been there. We all had to start somewhere. Some of us did start out building TGP galleries. Some of us lost our shirts by opening a paysite before we were ready. Most of us spent months in a constant state of fear, confusion and not knowing diddly. Yet somehow we trudged through. We built, rebuilt and built again. We learned by trial and error and we didn't stop until we found our specialties.
So where to begin? How about with a free site?
- Don't panic. It's really not as scary as you might think. A free adult site is just another way to make money with Internet porn. There are webmasters that build a new free see every day of the week. You can too. All you need is a little direction. A primer, if you will. Just read the following and soon, you will be on your way to creating a place on the web that is your moneymaker.
- Know what a free site is. Don't confuse a free adult site with an adult site on a free host. A free site is a site where the access and the content are free for the surfer. No passwords. No registration. No AVS signup. All free - with ads.
- Determine what kind of content you want to display. Hardcore porn? Softcore porn? Gay porn? Teen content? Milf? Reality porn? Fetish porn? As you probably realize, there is a niche for just about any kind of sexual content. You need to pick something that you think you can sell.
- Lease a domain and pay for hosting. If you want to make money with your free site, then forget about free hosting. Toplists, link lists and search engines hate free hosting. You can lease a domain for less than ten dollars a year. A virtual hosting account will cost you about ten bucks a month as well. Worry about upgrading your hosting after you put your free site on line. If you're lucky and get listed on some of the more prominent link lists, then you probably will need to pay for more bandwidth/transfer costs. The point being, you won't know your traffic until you put your free site online.
- Buy some content. Relax. You can buy a set of 30 xxx pics for beans these days. As with the domain and the hosting, the sites that list you don't want your free sponsor content. Your ultimate goal is traffic and sales. Those toplists and link lists give you that traffic and in return, that traffic produces sales.

- Make a simple free site. Don't get silly. Sure, a TGP is a free site but it's also a hell of a lot of work. The same goes with a blog or a hub. Work. Work. Work. You want to create a basic free site. That means a Warning page, a Main page and two gallery pages.
- Find a sponsor that jives with your content. A free site is nothing more than an advertising venue for an adult sponsor. You serve the site. You post the banners, sales copy and text links for your chosen sponsor. The surfer comes to your free site. He looks at your content. He wants more. He clicks your sponsor link because you've made your sponsor's stuff look way better than your free content. You sell a membership. You get paid.
- Build it. Submit it. Forget it. A basic free site is meant to be just that. Basic. A Warning page. A main page. Two galleries. Don't get all existential. If you build your free site correctly and submit it to a link list like Persian Kitty, you're going to be listed. That listing will garner you thousands of hits. Eventually that free site will move down the list and the hits will thin out. You need to get as many free sites on as many link lists and top lists as you possibly can. Selling smut on the net is a numbers game. The more free sites you have online, the better your chances at making money.
- Follow the rules. All toplists and link lists have rules. Follow them and build your site accordingly. That means posting reciprocal banners. It means including a Warning page and 2257 info. Never take your site down. Don't submit another free site unless you have permission. Read the rules. Read them again. You don't want to be blacklisted because you were an overeager bonehead.
