Here’s my theory about sexual behavior and the Internet. My belief is that if one person has taken the time to build an online group/community dedicated to a fetish or activity then odds are there exist a thousand other people with that same carnal interest. Ten separate pages produced would mean ten thousand additional fans of that sex kink are out there searching for it. Our job as Internet pornographers is to find these small groups of libidinous lurkers, tease them with samples of a product or service pertaining to their arousal and then hook them into a sale.

"There's not an object or body part, which isn't the catalyst of someone's erotic fantasy." |
When I travel the newsgroups and website communities looking for uncharted niches of lustful conduct and fantasy I find the usual old chestnuts. There’s BDSM, mature models, smoking, peeing and various others too yucky to mention in polite company.
My mission is to find uncommonly practiced sexual movements that include enough participants to garner an association, newsletter or newsgroup. I’ve reported many of these niches of potential adult customers. I am happy to say there’s many more I will bring you in the future. When it comes to sex, it’s a big and complicated world.
While other adult webmasters are trying to squeeze a few bucks out of over saturated markets -like teen and hardcore- the savvy porn monger looks for an unrevealed audience. Let your peers and cohorts scratch out a living pushing the same old thing to the same old surfers. You know that humans are a grand amalgamation of threads woven into the tapestry of sexual behavior. There’s not an object or body part, which isn’t the catalyst of someone’s erotic fantasy. Some of the ways that humanity enjoys themselves erotically, which you need to know, are:
Sounds like a contradiction in terms doesn’t it? Believe it or not there are believers who like their slap and tickle to an extreme. Christian BDSM players do all the general things other bondage, dominance, sado-masochism lovers do but they do it with others who worship their particular savior. This is a group that is perfectly comfortable blending their beliefs with their lifestyle.
They have physical gatherings. They meet in chat rooms and newsgroups. They look for others who won’t judge them for their convictions such as respect for the sanctity of marriage. This group is outcast by Christians and the BDSM community so they’re shy about proclaiming their faith to unsympathetic ears. A website that caters to this niche shouldn’t satirize the topic of Christian BDSM lovers. It would be wise to stress the privacy benefits of your Christian BDSM site. You could mix a free message board with ads for a bondage paysite sponsor. You could open a Christian BDSM Personals service. You could sell them their toys on your website.
There are transvestites, transsexuals and hermaphrodites. Then there are cross dressers.
A transvestite is a person who dresses and adapts mannerisms in order to create the illusion they are an opposite sex. A transvestite male wants to convince observers they are female. The
woman transvestite wishes to pass as a man. Some transvestites are transsexuals who are awaiting completion of their procedures and will have accouterment of both sexes like the tranny with breasts and penis.

A transsexual is a person who has completed all the procedures involved in a complete sex change. Women are changed into men with artificial penises. Men are modified into women through hormone injections, penis removal and concave orifices constructed by plastic surgeons.
A hermaphrodite is a person born with the organs of both sexes. A hermaphrodite might have a tiny penis and tiny breasts. Real hermaphrodites are rare and don’t appreciate being lumped in with transvestites or transsexuals.
Then we have cross dressers. Cross dressers aren’t necessarily gay and they don’t necessarily dress up in order to become another sex. Most cross dressers derive erotic stimulation from the adornment of opposite sex clothing and cosmetics. A good many cross dressers are straight men. In fact some cross dressers don’t even try hard to look good when they transform. Some cross dressers go all out with the wig and the pearls while others are pleased to sneak some panty hose under their business suit. A gay theme will not appeal to a great many cross dressers. Community based sites that have sharing through message boards and newsletters work well for cross-dressing aficionados. A site with a friendly directory of links to shopping and resources would mix nicely with affiliate banners for an adult product store. A cross dressing page could feature a host model to guide and inform surfers.
The mythical Amazon was from a tribe of self-sufficient women who shunned men. The Amazon of online porn is a broader definition of the mythical broad. An Amazon is basically any woman who looks like she could overtake a man. Some BBW models are called Amazons but the niche really belongs to bodybuilding females.
The whole point behind the Amazon fetish is the feeling of strength emanating from the female model. She is never photographed in submissive situations. The Amazon will never fit in with a bukkake site. Amazon content merges well with Dominatrix traffic. Amazon content appeals to lesbians. Amazon content interests anyone who likes a threatening gal. The Amazon is mighty and intimidating and she is loved by many.
That’s all the infamous niches for this installment in my series. I’ll go forth into the depths of the net and the psyches of civilization and come back with more. Until then, enjoy and explore and find a niche that works for you.
