Most adult webmasters look forward to the winter months in America because it coincides with the school term for young men in college. Most of us see a marked increase in sales during this time. The college dudes probably play a big part in the upswing, but the season itself is a major contributing factor. During the cold, people (in general) stay inside. Husbands don't play golf. Wives can't garden. Single guys and gals aren't out at the pool. Everybody's indoors with a little extra time and a little extra money.

Adult webmasters love American money because so many of us have charge cards. Granted, there's other ways to pay for online porn but charge card payments are the best because they're practically instantaneous. Yet, like everything in life, nothing is ever as simple as it seems. Just because other webmasters make more money this time of year, doesn't mean they're getting wealthy without any effort. There won't be any slacking off among your peers this winter. They'll be creating mores sites and more galleries. They'll be marketing harder, promoting stronger and hustling heavy. They'll be making a concerted effort to get as much return out of the season as they possibly can.
It's important to remember that an upsurge in business equals an upsurge in competition. You have a better chance at creating income during the busy season but the dollars won't fall into your lap. Thousands of adult webmasters are working their butts off right now to get that extra cash that winter brings. Some spent their whole summer plotting and planning for this very time. The only way for you to keep up is with sheer endeavor.
If you spent the summer and fall creating one adult site a week, then this January you ought to create two per week. If you built and submitted a gallery a day back in July or September, then this December on February try building two a day. If your summer centered on promoting one good sponsor, then dedicate yourself to two or three sponsors this coming winter.

You may still have a day job, which means you'll be inside more as well. Make more productive use of your free time. Even if you only do something as mundane as organize your files, there's no better time than the coming months.
December. January. February. Their precious spoils go to the vigorous webmasters. Don't let the profits get away from you. It all passes too fast. Whatever you're going to do, get cracking.
