If you’re satisfied to live with profits generated from simple membership sales, by all means enjoy. If you’d rather expand in other ways such as a new paysite in a different niche, please do. But if you want to pad the bank account -with little effort- look no farther than your standing paysite members.
Of course, you want to be a subtle seller when it comes to your member’s area. After all, your customers paid good money to get inside. If you bash them over the head with advertising, you can kiss your rebills goodbye. If you’re making a profit from your paysite, you don’t want to fix what ain’t broke. You want to offer goodies within your members through the soft sell.
For instance, say you want to sell penis enhancement products to your male customers. Instead of flying banners on your front page or popping consoles when they’re exploring your site, why not build a little articles section? You could write a few pieces like: "The Truth About Male Impotence!" and "Do Penis Pills Really Work?" You could put these articles in a special Men’s News section. Each article would give a favorable viewpoint about the product you want your members to buy. You would provide links to purchase such products within the article.
You make money by either selling the penis pills directly; by partnering with a provider or by using a referrer ID from a sponsorship program you’ve joined.
Perhaps you run an amateur site and are interested in promoting phone sex lines to your members.
Instead of using the pre-made FPAs or buttons, ask your phone sex sponsor if you can do something a little different. Build a few mini-sites with galleries, biography text and video clips which are each dedicated to a specific model. Link them inside your member’s area. On the mini-site you build for say, Amber make sure to post links or small banners that state: "Want to talk with Amber right now? Click Here!" Create a need for your members. Give them a model they’ll fall in lust with. Give her a history and a personality and then give them her phone number.
Now, of course you’ll have to clear such a move with your sponsor. You might find they’ll be willing to tell you (and let you use) some of the "names" of their more popular operators. You could also set up your own phone sex lines and push them through mini model shrines.

There’s plenty of green to be made by selling porn DVDs, adult toys and books. You don’t have to have a building in order to open a store. Why not build a virtual store? Why not link it from your member’s home page? If you’ve got reading fans, you can add a link to your bookstore at the end of every posted member story. If you have a collection of porn star shots, why not tell your customers that they can buy DVDs of their favorite star without ever leaving your site? Instead of just letting that set of pics with the solo model and the dildo stand on it’s own, why not offer your viewers a place to buy a dildo just like the one in the pictures?
Write articles about how to please women with sensual massage and then link to product items such as oils and vibrators that are within your online shop.
The beauty about these additional moneymakers is most times you don’t have to supply them yourself. There are plenty of adult sponsors who are more than happy to let you sell from within your member’s area. These sponsors let you offer penis pills, phone sex lines, DVDs, toys and books just like they would any other affiliate webmaster.
Many times you can personalize your extra stuff with your brand or logo. Call a sponsor. Discuss with them the possibilities you have in mind for their programs. See if what you want to do is okay. Ask them for suggestions. Most of them will be thrilled to help you. They know the value of paysite members too.
The biggest trick is make sure you sell to members without driving them away. A good rule is to sell items or services that don’t compete with but rather compliment your paysite content.
If you have a foot fetish site, you want to sell hot stockings and stilettos to your members via an online shop. If you have a gay site, you probably shouldn’t advertise straight videos on your virtual storefront. If you run one of those humilitainment reality sites, then it’s not a good idea to try to sell items which "enhance her pleasure". The items and services you offer additionally to your paysite members should be presented as if they were bonuses. They should be marketed as your recommendations. Your members should feel like you’re doing them a favor.
As said before, you might be perfectly content with your paysite as it is. If the dollars you receive from your member base are enough for you then don’t change a thing. But if you’re ready to make more member money, then go to it and do it!
