    Gallery Masters Rule!

    By Titmowse | Writer @ CozyFrog | MAY.05.2005
Gallery builders: give yourselves a hand.

Don’t let anyone belittle what you do. You earn your dough from the hardest sales venue on the adult Internet. You make money from freeloaders. You generate income by giving stuff away. That’s no easy trick.

The formula is simple:

Throw up some pics or clips on a single page along with unique ads/links that lead to your sponsor.

"You have to convince them that you can give them something better if they just visit your sponsor. You do it with a layout/thumbnail/text/ad arrangement that is practically an art."
Submit your page to as many TGPs/MGPs as possible.

Be listed by those TGPs/MGPs and receive buttloads of hits to your gallery.

Play the numbers and try to generate enough signups to cover or exceed the cost of creating and hosting the gallery.

Repeat often

Sounds amenable, doesn’t it? Follow the steps above. You will acquire cash. Except knowledge and expertise are completely different things. Like that eternal equation for weight loss - diet and exercise solutions are easy. Application is hard.

Your gallery is your only marketing platform. Prime listings and high traffic will not matter if your page is unprofitable. You build a gallery to please both the surfer and the TGP/MGP reviewer.

The odds are against you from the start because TGP/MPG sites attract surfers that want nothing but free porn. Therefore, you have to design your page in accordance with burdensome rules set down by the TGP/MGP reviewers. Those rules limit your ability to apply common marketing tools to your gallery such as pop-up windows and full-page ads.

Before all that, you have to procure content and web space for your gallery. Practically no TGP/MGP will accept a free-hosted page anymore. You must also create a text link or thumbnail so enticing the surfer will click on it over hundreds of other such choices listed on the TGP or MGP. You will have to follow the rules set down by your sponsor for proper referrer tracking and use of their content and banners. Triple-check your submission because broken links are not allowed. Then to top it off, you have to create the layout and format so that the images and clips load fast and sure.

That’s not all.

Untitled Page

With a gallery, you have a collection of thumbs and text, reciprocal links and sponsor ads. Moreover, don’t forget the 2257 link. Your task is to piece all those elements together in such a way that a decent percentage of your visitors will click to your sponsor after you gave them the freebies.

You have to tease and please them yet still sell your sponsor’s program or paysite. You need to appeal to the surfer like a lover would and you have to do it with HTML. MGP/TGP surfers only want one thing from you. They want your free porn. You have to convince them that you can give them something better if they just visit your sponsor. You do it with a layout/thumbnail/text/ad arrangement that is practically an art.

You have to follow these procedures before you submit your gallery to a TGP because once you’ve submitted, you can’t change anything on that page for fear of being blacklisted by the TGP reviewer.

Once your gallery is listed, you face the challenge of numbers vs. profit. When your gallery gets listed on a high-traffic TGP and receives 100,000 visits in one day, your bandwidth gets used pretty quickly. Most TGPs keep your listing on the front page for three days-to a week. You can easily exceed your transfer limit with just one gallery.

Your possible click-through and conversion ratios are even less than hopeful. How many of the 100,000 will click your sponsor banners and text links? How many of those will buy a membership? You have to reach enough surfers out of thousands to at least cover your bandwidth fees. Your one, little page has to be clever enough to shine through to the greedy masses.

If you can follow the steps and make a profit from building and submitting gallery pages, you are a master Internet marketeer.

TGP webmasters: What you do is hard, damned hard. Others may scorn you. We at Cozy salute you!
