There are two major ways to make money with AVS sites. The first is by selling memberships to the AVS itself, and the second is using the traffic from the AVS's list of participating sites to make sales to other sponsors. There are other ways, too, like advertising 900 numbers, dialers and toy stores, but I'm not going to get into that today. I'm only going to describe the two most common ways, and how to be as successful as possible at both methods.

"...you should have a table at the bottom of each page featuring tempting text links to several different niches." |
First of all, when using either method, you will need more than an AVS site. I have never heard of anyone making a fortune from just one AVS site. Ever. Most people who make really big money ($10,000 a month or even more) have hundreds or even thousands of AVS sites, and use several different AVS systems.
No, you can't make thousands of sites in a day, or a week, or even a month. AVS's don't allow you to make more than so many sites with a template, and some don't allow templates at all, so it will take a while to build up a huge income. Making money through AVS sites takes patience. You'll also need hosting, a domain name, and content, lots and lots of content.
When you've built your site, and you're ready to start getting traffic to it, you should submit it to all the search engines. Search engine traffic will get you quite a lot of sales to your AVS. You will also want to submit to every adult link list you can find that allows AVS sites and does not require a reciprocal link. Then you can choose to submit to a few link lists that do require a recip, but keep in mind that the more links you have on your outside pages, the fewer sales you will probably get.
This also applies to using top lists and banner exchanges to generate traffic. If you are willing to risk losing some traffic out to these methods, you can give them a try. Some people are very successful using these methods with AVS sites, however some people find that they just lost traffic without gaining much in return. It's up to you whether or not you want to try them.
When attempting to get traffic from the AVS list of participating sites to sell to sponsors you need to name your site something rich in keywords related to your sponsor.
For example, if you are using a foot fetish sponsor, you might name your site "Toe Sucking Foot Fetish Girls". This way, your site can be found through using the term toe sucking or foot fetish, or even toe fetish. Also, if your AVS has a preferred, gold or platinum program, make use of them. These sites get much more traffic than the regular sites because they appear first in searches, but you do need more content for them.

Of course, using these programs will give you the chance to make sales to your gold or platinum sites from regular members because regular members cannot access these sites without upgrading their passwords.
If your AVS has a sample picture program, make use of it! Sample pictures can drive very good traffic to your site, especially if your sample is of good quality and very teasing. It should be very softcore, since non-members can view it, but it should be very high quality as it will be representative of the type of content that surfers will expect to find at your site. It is like a little ad for your site!
Inside the AVS site you should advertise sponsors. Check with your AVS's rules to see how many ads are allowed, and use the maximum. If full-page ads are allowed, use them!
Also, offer variety to your visitors. You should reserve your banner spots for advertising the sponsors that fit your niche, but you should have a table at the bottom of each page featuring tempting text links to several different niches.
For example, if you have a foot fetish site, you might advertise a gay site, a tit site, a trample site, a teen site, an Asian site and maybe a bondage site. Try to mix it up. ALWAYS advertise at least one gay site in your table ad, because a lot of straight men who visit porn sites are gay-curious and won't actually seek out gay sites, but will click on gay links out of curiosity and if they are turned on by what they see, they buy! The point is to take a surfer who THOUGHT his fetish was feet, and make him realize he really prefers trampling or something else! This is a great way to gain sales.
Remember, make lots of sites, use every method you can to gain traffic, and offer your surfers a variety of sponsors, while focusing mainly on the niche of your main site. With these methods, you should be well on your way to earning a good income through AVS sites.
