C-Pimp: I've been following your site for quite some time, seen it evolve quite nicely. Feels good to get our chance to shed some light on Fantasy Content, thanks for doing this!
Tracy: Thank you for wanting to shed light on us! I am very flattered and excited to be interviewed. I have followed your site since the beginning also and I love it.
C-Pimp: When was Fantasy Content founded, how long has it been around? A brief history of the service.

Tracy: Fantasy Content has been around for about 2 years now. We started out with a free site where models signed up to sell their products and personal items and as time went on these models started sending us pictures and video of themselves to sell. So we created a webmaster section on our site and when we started it had 5 picture sets. These models started referring other models as well as professional photographers. Now we provide a service to webmasters in need of content and the producers who only want to shoot content.
C-Pimp: Tell us a bit about yourself, how did you get into this business and what role do you play with Fantasy Content?
Tracy: That's kind of an interesting story - to be honest my husband has always wanted us to have our own business and one of his friends is the biggest porn surfer I have ever seen. She would come over and surf porn all the time. We started to develop an interest in having our own adult website.
I love programming and it comes fairly easy for me so I decided to build my own site. One thing led to another and we decided to start with a free site (Secretfantasy) and see where it would take us. I have played many roles with Fantasy Content from building the first web pages to now focusing on marketing and looking for talent (models, web designers and programmers) that we can partner with.
C-Pimp: For those of use that aren't familiar with your service, can you give us a rundown of what you guys offer, price range and types of content? Whether it's download or CD based.
Tracy: We have a wide selection of content to choose from starting at $5.00 and in many formats as we want to make sure we are as accommodating to the webmaster as possible. We have pictures and videos that come by download. We also have content that comes on CD such as our full length video clips or you can have them sent in VHS format if you have the equipment to convert them yourself.
We just introduced our video re-sale sections which are amateur videos that come on VHS format and it gives the webmaster the rights to display or re-sell the video without having to pay any further royalties. This is great for anyone who has a video site and wants to expand their library. We can also do custom shoot for both photos and videos with either an exclusive or non-exclusive license. We have a bulk discount for anyone looking to purchase content in bulk over $1000.00.
We are also rolling out a new program where webmasters can create their own custom set by choosing images from any pre existing sets to make their own set.
C-Pimp: Do you shoot all your own content or do you have photographers that handle the production? How many people involved in running the site, keeping it together?
Tracy: We have done a few photo shoots but mainly we work with suppliers from all over the world ranging from the amateur model whose boyfriend takes her pictures to very well known photographer/studios who create professional content. Right now we work with about 30 suppliers worldwide. We have a few technical part timers who help with the tech end of things and the rest of the operation is run by me and my husband Dan.
C-Pimp: How often do you guys put up new sets, on average how many new packages go up on a weekly basis?
Tracy: This depends on how much content we get from our suppliers. Right now we are starting to get really back logged so we are trying to add new sets each week. The number of sets each week also varies depending on the amount of prep work goes into the set before displaying it. For example this week we will be adding 69 new picture sets (Softcore, Teen, Lesbian, and Fetish) along with 5 new movie titles to our re-sellers category. Next week we will be adding another 25 sets.
C-Pimp: Aside from adult content, does your company off any other services or products to webmasters that you would like to share with us?
Tracy: We are jut getting ready to partner with someone who is going to be making simulators & RGB files that webmasters can use on their membership site. This is a great thing that can be used for retention and is unique enough that you won't find them everywhere. We will be the only company selling these at least for the next year. If things go well, we may expand the market and allow others to sell this product as well.
We also just expanded our content site so that it is affiliated with our message board XXXWebmasterResource.com which not only allows our customers to gather with other webmasters but we also run specials on the board for example this month we are going to offer a $100 content package to the person who has the biggest string. So it's not only a great place to meet others but you can get some great things for free!
C-Pimp: What would you say is the toughest part in maintaining a content provider in today's online adult market?
Tracy: The biggest challenge that we face is getting all the content that is sent to us up. We have so many pictures and videos but not enough time. Also trying to get fresh talent is always hard when your shooting your own content as most models are freelance.
C-Pimp: What do you personally love most about working in the online adult industry and what do you despise with a passion?
Tracy: The 2 things I enjoy the most about the business is that I see so how our content is being used and the different types of websites that are being created. I also love this industry because we are always on the cutting edge and there is always something new and better coming out. The thing I dislike the most are the late nights when we have to write code or manually add new content.
C-Pimp: Can you give us a quick brief on your license agreement? What do you allow your webmasters to do with your content and what is strictly prohibited in a nutshell?
Tracy: Our images may be displayed and used within up to and no more than ten domains (which are provided by the licensee at the bottom of this agreement) that are owned and operated by the licensee. The PICS can be used for HTML design, logo design and banner design by the licensee at no extra cost. The Licensee is allowed to resize, rename or change the format of the PICS.
PICS may not be used on sites on sites containing bestiality, depictions of rape, murder or child pornography (real or not). Images may not be manipulated to cause them to become in acts (i.e. Urination, defecation, insertion, etc.) other that those poses being performed in the original photo. We request that any text accompanying our models images not be defamatory.
C-Pimp: Do you make special arrangements for clients that need specific licensing requirements, like for print ads or to create games, etc?
Tracy: Yes, again we are always trying to accommodate the webmaster/customers that come to us. I have had a few times when we have sold images for print ads and well as games.
C-Pimp: Before we end the interview, in Cozy fashion, can you provide our webmasters with a Content tip, some advice for the all up and coming newbie's looking to get into the adult content providing game?
Tracy: The biggest advice I can tell anyone interested in selling content is make sure that you have a really good product or angle because the competition in this area has grown dramatically and it's getting tougher to stand out - especially if the models you are using are already well known. Remember that webmasters want something that not everyone else already has!
My advise to anyone looking to buy content is make sure that you review the license agreement before buying any content, because what you are really buying is the agreement to use the pictures - no matter how good the pictures are if you are limited to how/where or how long you can use them it may not be worth what you are paying for.
