Got the hook up with the one and only BossHawg! Always a pleasure to have him grace our Cozy pages! For those of you that aren't familiar with the man, he and his Bro Dirt-E are the driving forces behind PornResource.com and all of it's related programs and sites! He recently launched FreeEzineBucks.com and after taking one look at it, we had to get the word out on what I think is one smokin' hot program! Finally got Boss to give up the goods, here is what he had to say...
C-Pimp: Whoa! I'm excited about this one…had to get this interview cause when I first got a glimpse of your new program, I new it was gonna kick and kick hard! How are things with PR lately? Made some changes on the layout and design? How is all that coming along for ya?
BossHawg: Yo Yo!! Thanks again for interviewing me C-Pimp and as always it is my pleasure. PornResource is progressing nicely as we redesigned our main page to put more of the focus on our resource sections. We feel we have the most complete resource center on the net with everything niched out and categorized to make finding anything you want or need very simple!! But all in all, PR is still rocking and I am still pumping out articles regularly! :-)
C-Pimp: Well for the short time that we do have, I wanna focus on your latest creation FreeEzineBucks.com. Did you guys put in the hours or what…how long did it take to create and put together? How did the idea first spark and why did you decide to run with it?
BossHawg: Took roughly 2 months from concept to having a functional product, which is when we started beta testing. We were in beta for about 3-4 months making sure we had a lot of the kinks worked out. The idea sparked one day when we read on some boards about webmasters who do mailers making a KILLING on signups. So we looked around saw the various 4Free programs lacking many of the major niches so we started running some spreadsheets on the numbers on what we had to make, etc...If we started our own Free program. After deciding it was feasible, next came the concept, which popped in Dirt-E's head one night and that same night I picked up 40 free ezine based domains. Right when he said “Free Magazine” style sites I knew it was a winner and would be a bit different.
C-Pimp: Give our Cozy peeps the rundown on the program? What's it all about and what makes it unique?

BossHawg: Basically FreeEzineBucks is a
FREE program similar to that of 4FreeBucks, Join4Free, and Pink4Free.
BUT we pay $1 per signup with no deductions and our big competitive edge is the amount of niches we have available to promote, 42 ezines currently. As I believe the next closest has somewhere in the 10-15 range. So we want
EVERYBODYS traffic from every niche!

C-Pimp: Overall, since it's official launch, how has the response been? Signups coming through solid? Are the webmasters eating it up? Are you happy with where it stands right now?
BossHawg: We have grown at an insane rate since opening up. Response has been very good thus far as conversions have been smoking for most webmasters. Since our sites are so fresh they are bound to convert better than some other programs. Fresh sites almost always equal better conversions. So overall, I am very happy with the growth and progress of the program and we have BIG plans for the program as a whole!
C-Pimp: I remember you telling me a bit about FreeEzineBucks when you start working on the project. I never thought it would be as elaborate as it turned out to be….40+ different niches! How many designers took part in setting the whole thing up? Do you plan on adding even more niches in the near future?
BossHawg: Yeah we planned on doing 30 or so to start and that is what we initially released. A month or so ago we then added 10 more ezines, and in the next 2 weeks we will be adding 8 more to bring our ezine total to 50. In regards to how many designers it took, out of the 42 ezines, 6 different design firms took place. BlueDesignStudios did 20, XXXDesign.co.uk did 10-15 and a few smaller firms did 1-5 designs…
C-Pimp: What kind of conversions are you webmasters seeing right now on average?
BossHawg: With everybodys traffic combined the average ratio is 1:20. Take into consideration some webmasters doing a consistent 1:3 and 1:4 while others doing 1:60 off blind link traffic, and so forth.
C-Pimp: Do webmasters have to use the promotional tools you provide to promote your ezines or can they create their own buttons, banners and links? Do you allow blind links?
BossHawg: We allow blind links and they can use their
OWN promotional items as long as it is approved by me first so I know it isn't lying about what we offer.
C-Pimp: On a personal note, you've got quite a bit on your plate Boss, a whole lotta quality sites and services and only 24 hours in a day…how the hell do ya keep up with everything and stay sane at the same time?
BossHawg: Man don't remind me about everything I got cooking HAHA...It has been tough lately, but we have a good crew of about 4 full time guys who work at the office including my accountant who take care of a lot of the day to day maintenance. My plate is full as can be, but I can always make room for more! :-)
C-Pimp: Seems like your team is always busy cookin' something new up in the Beano Basement! Got anything else planned in the near future that you would like our Cozy readers to keep an eye out for?
BossHawg: Nothing besides our current programs, we just plan on adding more and more sites to FreeEzineBucks and grow it into one of the biggest FREE programs out there.
C-Pimp: Aside from FreeEzineBucks, anything you would like to say about your other smokin' cash program Hawgs's Cash? How is that workin' out for ya?
BossHawg: Doing solid. We are having retention problems a little bit, but working on new members areas and a few other things to get that up. It is chilling though and when things slow down with FreeEzineBucks we will add more HawgsCash sites and push it a little harder!
C-Pimp: Well, I won't keep ya any longer…big ups for giving us the heads up on your new program and everything else you've got going on! Wish ya the best on everything you've got running! I think you guys really outdid yourselves with FreeEzineBucks…looks like one solid program! Any last comments before you sneak out the back door?
