Our pleasure to have Eric agree to give us this Cozy exclusive. The Frog's chance to get the scoop on GFY...
C-Pimp: My pleasure to get this interview with ya! GoFuckYourself is a force to be reckoned with nowadays, a paradise for experienced webmasters and newbies alike. How's the board working out for you guys? Are you happy with where it stands right now?
Eric: We couldn't be happier! Right now we love the way the board is running. We make tweaks here and there. But we mostly do this for the webmasters. We have entire days where almost everyone on the staff here is dedicating their time and efforts at making the board better.
C-Pimp: Love the name for sure, it's to the point and impossible to forget. How did you guys come up with the name and what made you decide to run with it?
Eric: Actually Lensman registered the Domain the first day FUCK domains were available to be registered. Funny thing about it was that when it was first registered he had no plans for what he was going to do with it. Then when it came time to make the message board it just sort of fit.
C-Pimp: How did you first break into this business and how long have you been actively involved in the online adult industry?

Eric: I personally broke into the industry back in the late summer of 1998. I still have the HTML of those sites. I remember right off the bat how helpful people were on the Porncity board. I made sure to return the favor. Dragging Tanker kicking and screaming into this industry, and Crow all the nights he would apologize for not knowing something. I can't tell you how many times I told that guy to stop apologizing. But all and all I have never had any beefs with anyone. That is where I think I have been successful.
C-Pimp: How many players' makeup the GoFuckYourself team, moderating the posts and keeping the business side of it all together?
Eric: Well we just added some outside crewmembers. Boneprone has been made a moderator. But inside the office we have Ram, Myself, Mike69, Wizzo, and of course The Almighty Lensman. But just about everyone here keeps an eye on the posts and we all work well as a team.
C-Pimp: How many webmasters are tuning into GFY and on average how many posts usually go up on a daily basis?
Eric: Honestly, I don't have an exact or even close number of webmasters. GFY does over 1000 posts per day or about 5 times the 2nd most active board, and over 20k actual views. Now this doesn't even take into account all the lurkers that we have just checking things out. Being one of the most active adult boards on the net makes it hard to keep up with it all. But we try!
C-Pimp: How long did it take for GFY to get to where it is today and what do you feel was the key factor in achieving the current success of the board?
Eric: Well GFY is just over a year old. That is the scary thing. This has all been a whirlwind adventure. I think the main factor of success was Lensman's network of webmasters. He has been a class act since day one. I have worked with the guy for years in the affiliate program. Keeping his webmasters up to date on anything and everything has always been a nice little knack of his. This was just another medium. Plus the catchy name didn't hurt! (laughs)
C-Pimp: You guys also own
Adult.com, for all the domain buyers out there, that one's nothing short of a goldmine. Tell us a bit about that, how did you guys acquire the domain?
Eric: Kind of a simple story really. Lensman knew the guy who had it and he was doing very minimal stuff with it. Lens made him and offer he couldn't refuse and VOILA we became Adult.com. Branding is a tricky business though cause when I say I am from Adult.com I have to explain to people that we are AmateurPages before they realize whom they are dealing with. But we are doing very well after only 8 months.
C-Pimp: What's your current goal with GFY, what do you hope to achieve with the board in the long run and is this goal the same as it was when the site was founded?
Eric: Our current goal is pretty much the same as when we started. Have a fun place for webmasters to come and hang out. Shoot the shit and trade ideas. And stay the most active adult board out there!
C-Pimp: Message boards always fall victim to spam attempts at one time or another. How do you guys deal with spammers and what are your thoughts on spam as to where it stands today in the online adult industry?
Eric: Well like I said before we have quite a crew monitoring the boards. I can give you an example. Yesterday there was a Spam up; it was edited and locked within 10 minutes. We bust our Asses to keep the board clean. Having a registration system helps to limit this too. It also makes it easy for us to immediately close down anything that is spam or detrimental to the board as a whole.
C-Pimp: Before we close this up, any future plans for GFY or for the Adult.com Network that would like to share with us? Any projects in the works that you would like to announce?
Eric: TONS!!! We have three new major impending projects. With Internet Eraser being a huge success and make webmasters more and more money everyday. Payouts there just got raised. We also have Amateur Money 3.0 going to be released in the very near future, and much more.
