How many adult webmasters use Mac? I dunno - I'm just a Cozy Pimp but I can bet there are quite a few given that most developers and designers that I know use Mac to get their online spunk in motion! DigiPimp and his crew recently released the first webmaster resource geared towards the Adult Mac Webmaster - It's about time, don't ya think? I really dig fresh new ideas so MacPimps.com definitely caught my eye. Had to give props where props is due...which brings us to this interview! Hope you guys enjoy it...
C-Pimp: Holla! Thanks for taking some time to do this interview for our Cozy Readers. How is everything?
DigiPimp: Everything is great man. Things are really picking up! :-)
C-Pimp: Let's get right to the site! Why did you decide to open up a resource site dedicated to all the Mac Webmasters out there?
DigiPimp: Well I noticed that there are so many questions and answers for PC users out there but there no solid place for the Mac people to share info as well as a place for PC users to learn more about macs and possibly making the switch over.
C-Pimp: If I'm not mistaken, you're the first to do this in our industry. I haven't seen another adult mac resource yet. Are there any other resources like yours out there on the adult web?

DigiPimp: On the adult web there's nothing else targeted to Mac users,
MacPimps.com is the first and only!
C-Pimp: Gotta give you props for that...I dig the innovative fresh approach! How long did it take to put together and who is involved with keeping it together? How many heads you go working in the lab on this project?
DigiPimp: We really considered the idea for three or four months. Once it was time to get it together it only took a few weeks. There are just two of us other than the designer and script man who help us as needed.
C-Pimp: Love the header on your site, the Zebra texture is definitely pimpin! Who designed the site?
DigiPimp: That's top secret but the design is John Ashcroft approved! :-)
C-Pimp: Tell us a bit about yourself. How long have you been in the adult online industry and what other sites or projects are you currently attached to?
DigiPimp: I left corporate America just over a year ago to enter the adult world when I was "downsized" out. I also do AVS sites and I'm currently trying to work on some independent southern rap music and other real pimpin' sites.
C-Pimp: Southern rap? You got some great talent down there. Hope that all works out for ya! Can you tell our readers about some of the features and tools they can find on MacPimps? Is it updated daily, weekly?
DigiPimp: Well in addition to our standard resources of sponsors, AVS's and what not. We also have a huge listing of Mac specific sites for news/rumors as well as a new amateur section for the female amateurs running their own sites to get the word out about what they have to offer. We now have a small article section as well that will be growing soon and of course the chat board with a Mac classifieds section!
C-Pimp: What's the one thing you hope to accomplish with your site? What goals do you have for the MacPimps resource?
DigiPimp: Well I hope to have a productive and useful site to empower the Mac community as well as offer a place for all the curious PC users to come check out the other side of the OS world and maybe learn a thing or two in the process. Who knows...maybe even BUY a Mac!
C-Pimp: On a personal note, what do you love and hate most about this industry?
DigiPimp: I love the freedom and creativity the most. The thing I hate the most is that often times being a web based biz you don't get face to face with others and as a result there are so many scams and many without good business ethics.
C-Pimp: Where do you see the adult online industry three years from now?
DigiPimp: I'm guessing a lot of that is going to depend on how the war on terrorism goes and if George Bush gets re-elected. Personally I see a decline that is going to weed out the webmasters that aren't creative and committed followed by another boom.
C-Pimp: What do you have planned for the site in the coming months? What can we expect from MacPimps in the near future?
DigiPimp: Well I can't say for sure, other than some contests for a little cash and possibly some Bling! There just might be something real pimpin' in the works that no one is expecting.
C-Pimp: What other projects do you plan to pull out of your Pimp Hat for this year? Any new ventures and services we should keep an eye out for?
DigiPimp: I have a few small side projects but I think for the rest of this year I'm going to devote time and effort to making MacPimps the biggest and best pimp spot on the net and help some webmasters get rich pimpin their macs!
C-Pimp: Running a resource is a lot of work. What was the toughest part about putting your resource site together?
DigiPimp: I think assembling the site is fairly easy but getting users to check you out and convince them that you have something to offer that is worth their time is the hardest part. There are many resources out there so you have to be on top of your game and provide some genuine knowledge and new things.
C-Pimp: Our readers are always hungry for input. Before we go, what Pimp Advice can you offer all the new webmasters coming into this games looking to make some currency?
DigiPimp: Committment to your business. Diversify your projects and your earnings and learn to manage your time effectively and your pimp game will do the rest.
