    Feed Them Feeders!
    By Titmowse | Writer @ CozyFrog | APR.26.2004

There are all kinds of free sites you can build. If you’ve got the time and patience you could bypass the whole gallery-submitting thing and create your own TGP. You could build a story site. You can build a babe site. You can run a blog or a site that reviews other porn sites. The free website you make is completely up to you. The hard part is making money from a free site.

"A feeder site feeds other sites, other sites that belong to you. A feeder site -and its outside linkage- is like your own little web trap."
One type of free adult site that has proven successful -when it comes to generating income- is the feeder site. A feeder site literally feeds traffic to your other sites. Sometimes feeder sites are referred to as hubs.

Basically, a feeder site is a main site. This is the site you submit to search engines. This is the site you’ll submit to banner swaps and top lists. This is the site you’ll optimize for traffic. This site will be clean of pop-ups or pop-unders. This site must have meat. You’ll need to give it content. That content could be a few galleries or some stories or jokes or a little bit of all it. You can’t just slap up a banner farm. Most search engines and link sites won’t list you if your site is nothing but a big fat ad. Your feeder site needs to have content. It doesn’t have to have a lot of content but it must have enough to be considered a website.

The kind of content you put on your feeder site is completely irrelevant. Some folks build link sites. Others buy a bunch of content sets of a particular model and build a mini-page devoted to her. The content is important but what’s more important is that once a surfer comes to your feeder site, your task is to build it so they stay. Once you get them there, that’s when the feeding begins.

To make a feeder work you have to build a bunch of little pages (on another domains) and link to them on your main hub. When a surfer comes to your hub from a search engine or link site, they’ll find your content and couple of sponsor links but they’ll also find links to pages off of your hub. These are the pages where you’ll begin to get ad-heavy. These little pages on other domains will look like outside links but they’ll really be yours.

For example, you build a free mini-gallery hub. You give the surfer ten or so galleries to view from within your hub. In addition, you’ll add links to galleries from other sites on that same hub. When a surfer clicks on the links from those “other sites” they get the galleries you uploaded to different domains. This way, the surfer never really leaves you. You get another chance to sell through the sponsor ads you’ve placed on those outside galleries.

Another example. Your feeder site is a general-purpose porn page. Your content consists of some galleries, a few stories and a video clip or two. After your surfer views all of your content they’ll want more. You’ll be able to provide more because you added a few links to “other” hot sites to your hub. Your surfer clicks on hot site number one and they get a Full Page Ad that must be viewed before they can enter that “other” hot site. Or maybe they click hot site number two and receive a blur console when they get there.

The point being your other little sites are where you hit your surfer with serious marketing. It’s these outside sites on other domains where you’ll use enter/exit consoles and FPAs. You’ll still have to give the surfer the promised content on these little outside sites but you don’t have to give it ad-free.

If you want to get crazy, you can add outside links on these little pages that will lead to still other domains you own that are even more ad-intense. Just remember to add a link back to your original hub on your outside pages as this helps you improve your search engine ranking.

A feeder site feeds other sites, other sites that belong to you. A feeder site -and its outside linkage- is like your own little web trap. As long as your surfer visits pages you run, you still have a chance to sell to them. With feeder sites (and their assorted outside pages) your surfer never leaves you and the farther away they get, the more advertising they’ll encounter.
