In the previous lesson we covered some of the innumerable and often tedious rules that Thumbnail Gallery Post owners/reviewers demand a gallery maker adhere to.
It would be impossible to completely list each idiosyncratic dictum TGP owners have because there are thousands of TGPs. This lesson is simply a continuation on some of the more important and common ones. Some of these rules are stated clearly while others lie in vague text and even the minds of the TGP operators. Read below and you will learn how to think like a TGP reviewer.
The TGP webmaster knows they have to let you advertise for your sponsor or web interest in some way. They try to compromise the wants of their surfers for ad-free porn with your need to advertise. They regulate the amount of advertising you can apply to your gallery in their submission rules and blacklist those who grossly abuse those rules.

TGP reviewers will not list a gallery that displays excessive advertising. How much is excessive depends on the individual TGP. Even if you advertise only one sponsor on your free-hosted page, some TGPs will include your free-host banners into their link count. Other TGPs are less stringent and ask that you just don’t submit a banner farm to them.
A good rule of thumb is to promote one sponsor per gallery and to make sure at least some of your thumbnails are visible in the browser window when your page initially loads.
Where your gallery page is hosted can be the determining factor when it comes to getting listed. Quite a few adult webmasters make great money from galleries they have on free adult hosts but the fact is, a gallery on a pay host will always do better than a gallery on a free one.
Gallery reviewers don’t like ads and they like free-host ads even less. In fact some TGP reviewers will tally free host header and footer banners into their ad count. Some free host banners can waste an entire allotment of allowed advertisement for a gallery according to some TGP rules. If you want to be a serious gallery maker, paid hosting is almost a necessity.
For all the content brokers and producers you see listed on adult resource sites, there’s very little that’s unique to the TGP reviewer/operator. They see the same images sets over and over when they compose their lists from webmaster submissions.
Free content provided by an affiliate sponsor is a smart way to sell a product in the eyes of everyone but the TGP reviewer. They have to give their surfers fresh, new porn every day. Repeated galleries from different webmasters will not help the TGP.
The rules stated in this lesson and the previous one barely remove a rock from the mountain of demands of the TGP owner. Your task is to read the submission rules of each TGP and obey them. Build a relationship of consistency in gallery quality and contact information with TGP sites. Don’t worry if one of the big TGPs doesn’t list you. Concentrate on the ones who do.
