    Lesson #06

    Bondage / BDSM

    By Titmowse | Writer @ CozyFrog | Updated: APR.16.2008
BDSM means Bondage/Sadomasochism. Actually, it means so much more than any text can describe. The two men from whom the terms Sadist and Masochist originate, were both authors that wrote endless tomes about the more extreme side of sex.

Leopold von Sacher-Masoch wrote a book about his favorite fantasy titled "Venus in Furs". Women who beat him while wearing furs sexually aroused him. Masoch became masochism. The Marquis De Sade wrote about the pleasures of dominating and inflicting pain on a sexual partner. While no one has ever proved that the Marquis actually participated in such activities nevertheless, De Sade became sadism.

Not to be confused with fetishism, which is a sexual attraction to inanimate objects or body parts, BDSM lovers can also be fetishists. BDSM fans can be married, straight, gay or even celibate. Their interests cross sexual identity and you will find such a mix at the many BDSM gatherings and clubs already in existence.

The current western culture frowns on BDSM but such was not always the case. Submissive/Dominant examples of sex in the name of religion can be traced back as far as recorded history.

S & M participants find the psychodrama of the experience thrilling and arousing. From simple bondage encounters such as tying up a partner in scarves to more elaborate scenarios involving hardware and props, true BDSM lovers play out their fantasies with each other's total cooperation. BDSM advocates do not condone forcing anyone to do anything against their will.

One of the terms in BDSM is the "safe" word. That is a word decided upon by the players that will be the signal for the play to stop.

Building a BDSM site means that you will be appealing to more than 25 percent of the world's population. Bondage people are very private and because of social taboos, have to conceal their activities to public. That is one reason why the adult Internet is the perfect market for the BDSM clientele. The web allows S & M admirers privacy and freedom. The Sadomasochist fancier is a very profitable and faithful niche.

To insure the content you host on your BDSM site contains legal, cooperative images of S & M, purchasing it from a professional provider is your surest way. Here is a small list of BDSM content sellers:

    Red Light Digital
    (http://www.redlightdigital.com/content)
Three femdom or female domination sets and many other fetish images here. Prices are in the range of $112-$1550.00 per set.

    Sex Contents
    (http://www.ounique.com)
Good quality lesbian female domination bondage. Individual sets and bulk CDs available ranging from $50-$150

Because most the world of BDSM fans hide in plain site, selling Bondage sponsors is highly profitable for the adult webmaster. Believe it or not, millions of people want this content and buying it from the security of their homes is universally favored over a trip to the porn store. You can make per sign-up membership payouts and partnership commissions from these respected sponsors:

When designing a BDSM site your limit to methods is as vast as your imagination. You could keep it tame with pics of growling-faced rubber-clad girls who spank each other. You could go full out and make a portal for all that is S & M.

If you want to incorporate humiliating language towards the models you feature, this works too. You could concentrate on appealing to either the dominator/top or the submissive/bottom customer.

A message board for your surfers to voice their fantasies would fit very well on your BDSM site. Like gays and lesbians, trust and community is very important in the bondage world. They don't want to be revealed, but they do like to play. They don't get off on actual suffering, they get off on cooperative role playing. Vanilla or missionary type sex will not usually work on a BDSM site. S & M isn't about sex, it's about imagination.
